RETAIL & SHOPPING CENTRESSECURITY IN PORTSMOUTH
Looking for specialist retail & shopping centres security in Portsmouth? Xtreme Protection delivers sector-trained, SIA-licensed security teams across Portsmouth and the wider Hampshire area, including Southsea, Fratton, Cosham and Gunwharf Quays. UK retailers lose over £2 billion a year to theft, and violence against shop workers is at record levels. Our retail security teams — visible loss prevention officers, covert store detectives and shopping centre patrols — protect stock, staff and shoppers without damaging the customer experience.
Effective retail security is intelligence-led. We analyse your incident data by time, department and method to deploy officers where losses actually happen, connect with Business Crime Reduction Partnerships to share offender intelligence across your whole high street or centre, and back every detention with body-worn video and ASCONE-compliant evidence packs that stand up in court and support civil recovery.
Our Portsmouth retail & shopping centres teams combine genuine local knowledge of Hampshire with sector-specific training — officers briefed on your industry's risks, regulations and culture, backed by our 24/7 UK command centre and verified digital reporting on every shift.

How We Protect Retail & Shopping Centres Sites in Portsmouth
From single boutiques to national chains and managed shopping centres, we build the right mix: uniformed deterrence at entrances and hotspots, plain-clothes detectives targeting prolific offenders, CCTV and EAS integration, and conflict-trained officers who put staff safety first — because protecting your people matters as much as protecting your margin.
In Portsmouth, that approach means site surveys that account for local crime patterns across Southsea, Fratton and Cosham, relationships with Hampshire police liaison teams, and officers who already know the South East England landscape before their first shift.
